How To:

Every summer after the recital, Center Stage holds a four week long summer dance camp. During this dance camp, the students take every subject of dance in one full day according to their age group. Students who would like to try out for competition will turn in a try-out sheet during dance camp. This camp turns into an audition for the students, as the teachers watch them and decide if they are ready to be in the dance company, and what groups they will be placed in. After the camp is over, groups are posted on our website.

Company members have a larger commitment to the studio than our recreational students. Company members will attend at least four regional competitions a year, along with one nationals at the end of every season. They have more requirements when it comes to ballet and body placement, and are held at a more serious, and higher level when it comes to their dance education. Our company has dramatically grown in size over the past 3 years, and we now have a very well known, and respected, competition team.
